The Orange SPV M600 is the new and improved smart PDA handset from Orange and boasts a whole host of new features over its predecessor the SPV M500. The main new feature is the handset is supported by Windows Mobile 5.0, this is the latest mobile operating system from Microsoft. Other improvements include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.0, 2.0 mega-pixel digital camera and a brilliant 128MB ROM memory compared to the 64MB on the SPV M500.

The SPV M600 uses latest Microsoft Windows Mobile 5. The major changes and additions in Microsoft Windows Mobile 5 include one-handed navigation, program compatibility with Smartphone devices, persistent storage and new memory configuration, features the new ActiveSync 4.0, it uses the new addition of Direct3D Mobile, DirectX Mobile, & DirectDraw Mobile, and has an improved application suite.

MIDP 2.0 is a revised version of the MIDP 1.0 specification, and includes new features such as an enhanced user interface, multimedia and game functionality, greater connectivity, over-the-air (OTA) provisioning, and end-to-end security. MIDP 2.0 is backward compatible with MIDP 1.0.

Picture Messaging
